Lee inspired me to re evaluate how I view what I put my body through everyday, can be something as simple as antacids or just breakfast, I had spent most of life taking antacids and proton inhibiters due to genetic deficiencies that cause reflux. I really couldn’t go through a day without nexium, but Lee reminded me that the body is fully capable of taking care of itself without medication if you assist it and are mindful of what you eat, drink etc. I have finally weaned myself of all and every medication for my stomach, needless to say that it has improved my quality of life and saved me tons of money that was spent on un necessary medication and I have a better relationship with my body now. When in doubt, we just need to go back to the basics, originally mankind didn’t need pharmaceuticals so the body can do just fine without them, you just need to understand what’s causing the problem and deal with it, not just treat the symptoms and cause more problems as a result.
